I had an excellent stay at Villa Varzea - Garden Suite. It's a unique and special place to visit, featuring great wi-fi and breathtaking mountain views. the staff was fantastic, and breakfast offered a delicious variety. the location is amazing, and the room exuded luxury. I also appreciated the secure area, and it’s conveniently located just 25 km from Joao Paulo II airport.

The location of this place on Sao Miguel island was great, as we were conveniently close to attractions like Ferraria Hot Springs, the garden, and other important sights away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

villa varzea - garden suite in varzea was truly beyond expectations. the host monique was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made us feel like royalty. the vila itself was stunning and we had the best accommodation experience ever. can't wait to visit again!

Keep coming back for romantic escapes. The staff gave restaurant tips during my first stay. It has Wi-Fi, free parking, laundry, and a flat-screen TV. Perfect for me with cots, an electric kettle, no pets, and no smoking. Many reasons to choose this place without regrets.

Our romantic escape to this charming rural retreat was fantastic! Serenity was in the air in this hidden gem that was quiet, remote and perfect for us to relax and unwind. The property was stunning, with incredibly tasteful design work throughout. The suite was spacious, beautiful, and immaculate—providing us with everything we needed, including a brilliant view of the sunset every evening. We also enjoyed the fact that we could wander around and take in the fresh air, while still being within driving distance of delicious seafood restaurants and a market that had the basic necessities. we had one of the best romantic escapes ever, made even better by this peaceful and breathtaking location.

Our only quibble was that we occasionally had internet connectivity issues, but given we were on a romantic escape, we see it as a minor issue. as the location was quite remote, it might not be suitable for those who prefer a livelier holiday experience.
